Farm Management Extension Specialists will delve into current topics on all aspects of farmland leasing for tenants, landowners, and ag business professionals to strengthen lease agreements across Iowa. The two–three-hour workshops include highlights of recent cash rent and land value surveys, current market outlook, calculating fair cash rents on crop acres, legal aspects of farmland leases, and how a lease may be impacted in estate or succession plans. Attendees will leave better prepared to communicate on their lease arrangements.
