News release from Iowa Department of Public Health

On April 24, we successfully concluded a series of three COVID-19 Vaccination Information Sessions in partnership with the Iowa Department of Public Health and the University of Iowa. These enlightening sessions allowed Iowans to hear from medical experts on the COVID-19 vaccine and ask and receive answers to their questions. The questions were as candid and straightforward as Iowans themselves: from the speed and process of vaccine testing and trials, to risks and side effects, to the timetable for vaccines for children.
While the April sessions are over, our mission persists -- to provide Iowans with information they need to make important decisions about their lives and health.
To reach even more Iowans, we are now offering recordings in French and Arabic in addition to the current English and Spanish.
