4-H & Youth

Iowa 4-H Youth Development is the premier youth development program of Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Providing research-based education to K-12 youth, Iowa 4-H focuses on Healthy Living, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Leadership and Civic Engagement, and Communication and the Arts. 4-H Youth Council

The Cass County Youth Council is made up of 4-H members in grades 10-12 who help plan and carry out county-wide 4-H activities and events.  Members must fill out an application and interview for the Youth Council each fall. Members are installed at County Convention during 4-H week and serve one year terms.
