4H FFA Poultry Show Results

2024 Howard County Fair 4-H and FFA Poultry Show

The 4H and FFA Poultry Show was held on Thursday, June 27, 2024.  The judge was Bart Pals of Mason City, Iowa.

Production pullets – white egg participant was Claire Kach with a blue ribbon.

Production pullets with brown eggs had Kelsey Adams with a first blue; Harper Reis with a fourth blue; Aria Sebastian with a third blue; Claire Kach a second blue.

Production hens with no color restriction had Gage McGee with a first blue.

Production hens with brown and colored eggs had Jameson Ringoen with a first blue.

Production hens with white egg participant was Sierra Burke with a first blue.

Champion of the production pen of pullets banner sponsored by Dale and Julie Dietzenbach was won by Kelsey Adams.  Reserve champion pullet pen was won by Sierra Burke.

Market broilers heavy weight pens of three were shown by Tucker Tlusty, blue and second blue; Brock Voyna, first blue and blue.

Champion Broiler pen banner sponsored by Kaidence Mahr was won by Brock Voyna.Reserve broiler pen banner sponsored by RJTNT Miniature Herefords was won by Tucker Tlusty.Heaviest market broiler overall banner sponsored by Keith Klimesh was won by Brock Voyna.

Standard Clean Legged male projects were exhibited by:

Dominic Bigalk, sixth blue; Sierra Burke, fourth blue; Alivia Schatz, fifth blue; Jesse Speer, third blue; Brock Voyna, first blue; Jameson Ringoen, second blue.

Champion male clean legged ribbon went to Brock Voyna.  Reserve champion male clean legged ribbon went to Tod Merritt.

Female Standard breed clean legged projects were shown by: Dominic Bigalk, eighth blue; Cole Bronner, fourth blue; Kyle Bronner, third blue; Sierra Burke, fifth blue; James Kach, sixth blue; Gage McGee, fifth blue; Tod Merritt, second blue; Harper Reis, third blue; Alivia Schatz, first blue; Jesse Speer, second blue; Brock Voyna, first blue; Jameson Ringoen, fourth blue; Claire Kach, seventh blue.

Champion female clean leg ribbon was won by Brock Voyna.  Reserve champion female clean leg ribbon was won by Tod Merritt.

Standard Breed male feathered leg was shown by Tod Merritt, first blue.

Standard breed female feathered leg was shown by Tod Merritt, first blue and Devin Sebastian, blue.

Champion banners for male and female standard breed feathered leg sponsored by Jeff and Tess Kenon were won by Tod Merritt and Brock Voyna.

Bantam male clean legged participants were Kaleb Adams, first blue; James Kach, second blue; and Claire Kach, third blue.

Bantam clean legged female participants were Kaleb Adams, first blue; Sierra Burke, second blue.

Bantam Feathered Leg Male participants were James Kach, blue; Claire Kach, first blue.

Bantam Feathered Leg Female Participants were Claire Kach, first blue and James Kach, blue.

Champion Male Banton went to Kaleb Adams.   Champion Female Bantam went to Sierra Burk.

Reserve were James Kach and Claire Kach.

Water Fowl Male participant was Lincoln Manske, blue.

Water Fowl Female participants were Cole Bronner, first blue and Kyle Bronner blue.

Champion male water fowl banner sponsored by Lori and Randy Kerian went to Lincoln Manske.

Champion female water fowl banner sponsored by Lori and Randy Kerian went to Cole Bronner.

Reserve went to Kyle Bronner.
