Approximately 1,000 teens are expected to converge on the Iowa State University campus for three days this summer to investigate their passions and interests, career opportunities, what 4-H offers and what it's like to go to college.
Forty Iowa youth are beginning terms as State 4-H Council members. The State 4-H Council induction was held during the closing ceremonies of the 2017 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference June 29.
Twenty-five Iowa State University Extension and Outreach staff members were honored at the Iowa 4-H YouthFest professional development conference. They were recognized for their impact on local communities, accomplishments in their field and embodiment of the ISU Extension and Outreach 4-H mission.
