When you need to make decisions that affect your family, community, business or farm look to Sac County Extension and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for unbiased, research-based information and education to help you make better decisions.

Our office will be open to the public under the following guidelines:

  • You must call ahead and let us know what you need as we will have a table availabe for pick-up only.
  • We will only allow 3 people in the office at one time. All others will be asked to wait in their vehicle.
  • You must sign-in when entering the office.
  • Face masks will be available for anyone entering the office.
  • Staff may be wearing face masks and will be required to social distance  themselves.

If you aren't feeling well, please stay home! We can ship most items that are needed from our office!  Thank you for your understanding.

Veg Out! Examine the benefits of vegetables. Explore recipe ideas, and learn how to increase fruit and veggies in your diet. Learn how to make a whole meal salad and homemade salad dressing.

Each quickinar is about 10 to 15 minutes. You will learn strategies for using time, money, and skills wisely when you eat at home. The Sac County Extension office will be featuring the quickinar series throughout the month of May and June.
