Planning Phase of program development and evaluation

Phase 1: Planning

Planning Your Program

Planning successful educational programs requires identifying current or emerging issue(s) that research-based educational programs or experiences could positively address.  Using a logic model, intentionally planned educational programs should include data that supports the need for the educational program, resources needed to invest in the program, educational experiences required to address anticipated learning objectives, identification of target audiences who would benefit most from the program, and measurement of anticipated outcomes and impact.
