Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Region 13, is seeking qualified candidates for one (1) Human Sciences Specialist position to be filled at the Field Specialist I or II level. The position will focus on Family Finances within Human Sciences, which includes family finance education, financial literacy, money management strategies, and family resource management. The position will promote Extension engagement and education with individuals, families and communities.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Polk County leaders are interested in learning more about how to promote educations success among African American youth in Polk County. Parents, youth, and educators are invited to take part in group discussions called study circles and action forums to offer their perspectives and brainstorm solutions for enhancing youth academic success in the county.

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host a three-hour class for anyone interested in being certified to sell morel mushrooms legally within the state of Iowa. The workshop will be held on three consecutive Saturdays in April on the Iowa State University campus.
