Four officers were elected during the Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach, Polk County extension council organizational meeting. The annually elected nine-member Polk County extension council serves as the governing body of Polk County Extension. The county extension council hires Polk County staff, manages the county extension budget, and helps determine programming.
