Camps and Youth Programs are Open to Everyone!

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Osceola County offers camps and youth programs throughout the year. These activities are open to all youth. 4-H membership not required. 

STEAM Fest: February 11, 2023

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and Dordt University collaborate to host STEAM Fest each year. 

STEAM Fest is a day of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math interactive hands-on learning for youth in 4th through 8th grade. 4-H membership is not required.

Registration will open January 24 and close February 8 or when maximum capacity of 150 youth is met. 

STEAM  Fest, Junior: March 4, 2023

STEAM Fest, Junior is open to 1st through 3rd graders. Youth are invited to spend the morning learning and having fun while participating in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities hosted by the ISU Extension and Outreach Northwest Iowa Youth Development Team.

Registration will open February 1 and close March 1 or when maximum of 60 registrants has been met. 

PLUNGE into 4-H Overnight Camp: April/May 2023

"PLUNGE into 4-H" is a middle school overnight camp where we focus on leadership development, communication and teamwork, trying new things, exploring opportunities, and giving back to others through community service. It is open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

Summer Camps: Summer 2023

ISU Extension and Outreach Osceola County hosts a variety of camps for youth each summer. Camps generally consist of hands-on interactive learning related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), Robotics, Cooking, and the Arts.

Multi-County 4-H Swim/Skate: December 2022

Join other 4-H youth in grades 4-12 from around the area for a fun day of swimming, skating, food, friends and fun!

Guidelines for Attendees

$10 cost includes swimming, skating during skating time, games/activities, light lunch and snacks.
