Get ready to welcome spring by attending the Cass County Master Gardeners' 2020 Spring Garden Seminar, scheduled for Saturday, March 7.  This year's event, focused on "Garden Inspiration Old & New," is a half day seminar designed to provide inspiration for discoving what's new in the garden and appreciation for the heirlooms that continue to delight gardeners.

Women, Land & Legacy of Southwest Iowa is excited to announce that this year’s Women Gaining Ground conference, scheduled for Saturday, March 7 at the Glenwood High School, will feature Dese Payne as the keynote speaker.  All registrations are due by February 28th.

Registration is now open for statewide Guide Training workshops in three Iowa locations.  This program was created for staff and volunteers who lead guided programs at Iowa's cities and tourism attractions, including museums, nature areas, agritourism, and historic sites, accroding to Diane Van Wyngarden, state tourism specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
