4-H Robotics Camp Participants
April 12, 2018

Imagine It, Build It and Watch It Go!This adventure will have you creating and programming cool robots out of Legos on your first day. Join us June 12-15 at the Mills County 4-H Robotics camp for four days of workshops on how to build and  program Lego Mindstorm EV3 Robots. Learn to use sensors and build and program your robot to meet a series of challenges. Become an expert Programmer and Builder for FIRST Lego League or just have fun learning to work with robotics.  Workshops will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day.

2017-2018 "Last Chance" Private Pesticide Applicator Continuing Instruction Course Schedule Now Available

The dates, times, and locations for the 2017-2018 “last chance” private pesticide applicator Continuing Instruction Course, sponsored by the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program and county extension offices, are now available. As a reminder, April 15th is the last date to attend a course for the 2017 recertification year. Contact your county extension office for additional information.

"Spring into Spring"  2018 Master Gardener Seminar Series

Even though its cold outside and you think spring is a long way off, its not too early to get some information and great ideas to make this gardening year one of the best! The Mills County Master Gardeners are here to help with this series of six seminars open to gardeners of all ages and abilities. The series will get started on Tuesday February 20th, and will run through April 17th. Seminars begin at 7:00 PM

March 27th and April 3rd are at the Mills County Extension, Malvern, IA. All others are at the Glenwood Resource Center Visitors Center, Glenwood, IA

Nothing brings people together quite like working shoulder to shoulder in hairnets and packaging 20,000 meals in an hour. During a Meals from the Heartland service project, ISU Extension and Outreach was networking with a purpose to fight hunger.
