Event Type:

Class on Campus is an in-person, day-long workshop that provides a more in-depth exploration of select topics from the Master Gardener training course. These classes will be led by campus experts and graduate assistants from Iowa State University. Groups will spend the day rotating through hands-on workshops in Entomology, Botany, Soils, Plant Pathology, and Composting in Ames. Registration will be capped at 240 people so we can maintain class sizes no larger than 30 per session. Classes will be held in Bessey, Troxel, and Horticulture Halls, which are all adjacent to each other, but do require some walking and stairs/elevator usage (https://www.fpm.iastate.edu/maps/) Please be prepared to walk short distances from building to building, and from the parking lot onto campus. While masks are not mandatory on campus, they are highly recommended.

Registration will begin March 4 and will cost $50. Registration closes March 25.   Read more about Class on Campus
