The Linn County Extension Council, county staff, and ISU Extension and Outreach specialists work together to provide research-based learning opportunities for our residents. Through this partnership, we carry Iowa State University's land-grant mission across Linn County.

The Linn County office of Iowa State Extension and Outreach is a cooperative partnership between Iowa State University (ISU), Linn County, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. We’ve been around since 1915. We are members of the Federal Cooperative Extension Service, a network of more than 100 land-grant institutions, which includes Iowa State University, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
