Read Across the Fair Flyer

Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach in Kossuth County is inviting families to “Read Across the Kossuth County Fair” by participating in a StoryWalk®.  The StoryWalk®, an outdoor reading experience, will take place from 11 am – 6 pm on August 4th – 6th.

Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach in Kossuth County is hosting a Farmland Leasing Meeting on Wednesday, August 18th, at 1:30 pm, to address questions that land owners, tenants, or other interested individuals have about farmland leasing.

The Iowa Beef Center and Iowa State University Extension are cooperating with the Iowa Beef Industry Council to help educate producers in Beef Quality Assurance program.  A training and certification session will be held on Wed. June 30 from 6-9 pm at Algona Livestock 2220 Hwy 69 N in Algona.  Kossuth County cattlemen will serve hamburgers for attendees at 6 pm followed by the BQA program.  Please RSVP for the meal by contacting Algona Livestock at 515-295-7273.
