Celebrate ISU Extension and Outreach Week in Kossuth County

The community can join in on the celebration by attending a Chamber Coffee at the Kossuth County Extension and Outreach office on Friday, April 16th at 9:30 am. An open house will follow the Chamber Coffee until 1:00 pm.

Seed Exchange Being Hosted By Local Organizations

A Seed Exchange is set to take place in Kossuth County on Monday, April 12th from 6 to 7 pm at the Burt Community Center (400 1st St., under water tower).

Kossuth County Hosting Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vendor Webinar

In cooperation with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host the Farmers Market Nutrition Program webinar training for new and returning farmers market vendors March 25 or April 21.  This viewing option is provided as a service to individuals without access to a computer or limited internet service.

Farmers Offered Guidance on Farm Bill Decisions

In order to help Kossuth County Producers understand their options for 2021, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Kossuth County is hosting a Farm Bill meeting on February 23rd.  The meeting will begin at 2:00 pm and will be approximately one and a half hours in length.
