Soil in hands
January 20, 2020

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a soil fertility workshop on February 27 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm near Crawfordsville. The workshop will focus on interpreting soil test results to make more informed fertilizer decisions for both row crops and forage crops.

Private Pesticide Applicator Certification
December 5, 2019

Private pesticide applicator training will be held Tuesday, February 26th, at the Keokuk County Extension Office on the fairgrounds. There will be two trainings in Sigourney. The first will be held at 1:30pm-3:30pm and a second 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fee for this program is $20.00.

The premier educational opportunity for cattlewomen in Iowa, Boots in the Barn, will be hosted by Keokuk and Washington County Extension this winter. A four-meeting series covering an array of topics in beef has been set for Thursday evenings in January.
