Keokuk County Extension and Outreach and Keokuk County Farm Bureau are sponsoring a marketing education program “Launch and Land Your Pre-Harvest Marketing Plan: Winning the Game” on Monday, March 4, 2019 with registration at 6:30 pm.  This workshop provides education on crop marketing decisions before and during the growing season and will be delivered by the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation and ISU Extension and Outreach.

4-Hers and FFA members can purchase pigs through our swine superintendent, or bring their own! Weigh-in date takes place March 23rd, and the Antibiotic-Free show will take place after the regular swine show on Friday, July 18th.

Keokuk County 4-H Ywill be holding a Lock-In event at the YMCA in Ottumwa on April 5th. Youth will be swimming, climbing the rock wall, playing games, and much more! Registrations are due back to the Keokuk County Extension Office by March 1st Click on the title for more informatoin and registration forms.

The Iowa Department of Ag and Land Stewardship (IDALS) will offer pesticide testing on Monday, February 4th at the Keokuk County Extension office from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
