SAVE THE DATE! Join us in celebrating the 2017-18 4-H year at our Awards Night! Awards Night takes place Sunday, November 18th beginning at 5:30 P.M. at the Expo Exhibit Hall.

7th, 8th and 9th grade 4-H members in Keokuk, Washington, Iowa and Johnson County are welcomed to participate in this year's intermediate trip to Minneapolis, MN March 8th and 9th. 
Harvesting Beans
November 7, 2018

The Keokuk County Extension Office will be hosting Ag Talk sessions throughout the winter months! These sessions are FREE to the public, and offer a different Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Specialist each month along with coffee and donuts. 

Tree Planting
October 29, 2018

Master Gardeners and the Fair Board agreed that this project needed to be completed, and were wanting to replace the affected trees with healthier shade trees. In total, these organizations decided to plant 68 new trees throughout the 33-acre property.

Branching Out
October 3, 2018

Volunteers and community leaders in Sigourney are planting trees throughout the Keokuk County Expo Fairgrounds to save energy, improve air quality and reduce stormwater runoff. The local effor is a partnership through Alliant Energy and Trees Forever's Branching Out program.
