March 8, 2021

The 2021 Jones County Derby Swine Weigh-In will be held from 8:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Great Jones County Fairgrounds in the Small Animal Barn. Check out our exhibitor letter, 2021 Livestock Project Requirements for Swine and the state PEDV documents here.

The 2021 4-H/FFA dog workshops have been announced! If you are planning to show a dog for 4-H or FFA at the 2021 Great Jones County Fair, you must attend workshops based on what year you are as a member will determine how many you have to attend to be eligible to show.

The 2021 4-H Horse Clinics have been announced! If you are planning to show a horse for 4-H or FFA at the 2021 Great Jones County Fair, you must attend one of these workshops with your horse to be eligible to show.

If you are currently a Jones County 4-H and/or FFA member, a high school senior and are planning to continue your post-secondary education, you may qualify for one of the Jones County 4-H scholarships. Here's how to apply!

July 1 Forms - 2020 Great Jones County Fair 

Exhibitors both 4-H and FFA are required to fill out the below July 1 forms and return to the office by June 30th at 5:00 pm in order to be eligable to show at the 2020 Great Jones County Fair. To turn these forms in you are able to email them to Devan Cress at, mail them to the office at 800 N Maple Street, P.O. Box 28, Monticello, IA 53210 or drop them off to the office between the hours of 8:30 am - 11:30 am.

Clothing Event Report Forms - 2020 Great Jones County Fair

Due to COVID-19 The 2020 Jones County Clothing Event will now be held on Tuesday, July 21st.  More details will be sent to exhibitors signed up for this project area around July 13th.  Entry forms are due to the office by June 30th by 5:00 pm.
