2020 Johnson County Stakeholder Report

Johnson County Extension & Outreach office is to the public M-F, 8am- 5pm.

We ask that you help keep our staff and patrons safe by please using hand sanitizer, sign-in upon arrival and please wear a face mask when entering the office space. We take serving Iowans seriously, which is why we are prioritizing the health and safety of our community and staff. If you have had any flu-like symptoms, fever, congestion or have traveled outside the county in recent days, please do not enter. Instead, call our office at 319-337-2145. Thank you for your efforts to keep everyone safe!

ServSafe offered June-September from 9AM-6PM at the Johnson County Extension office for foodservice managers and workers.

The Powerful Tools for Caregivers series will meet virtually Thursdays May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3, 10, 2021.
The two hour class will be offered from Noon-2:00 pm or 7:00 pm-9:00 pm.
The Powerful Tools for Caregivers series is designed to provide the family caregiver with the skills they need to take care of themselves.

Rural Road Trip
March 15, 2021

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is helping promote this event as an effort to help revive Iowa's small businesses and small towns. This event is scheduled for April 23rd, 24th and 25th, and will include a map of shops, restaurants and lodging available in these rural communities.
