The Johnson County Extension & Outreach office is open to the public M-F, 8am- 5pm.
 

We ask that you help keep our staff and patrons safe by please using hand sanitizer, sign-in upon arrival and please wear a face mask when entering the office space. We take serving Iowans seriously, which is why we are prioritizing the health and safety of our community and staff. If you have had any flu-like symptoms, fever, congestion or have traveled outside the county in recent days, please do not enter. Instead, call our office at 319-337-2145. Thank you for your efforts to keep everyone safe!

The non-profit Rural Health and Safety of Eastern Iowa and Mercy Hospital of Iowa City are teaming up to offer free COVID 19 testing in Johnson and Washington County communities.

September 11, 2020

Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach will offer several online trainings for child care providers this fall. The cost is $5 per training and all child care providers in the home daycare, community daycare and pre-school settings are welcome to attend. All trainings are approved by the Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) for 2 hours of credit.
