Contact Kolby Freeman at 641-233-1221 with questions. No RSVP is needed.

NEW: Single Source Swine Class

This new class could be a great option for those who want to try a new project, are just getting started in their 4-H livestock experience, want ease in finding pigs for the fair, or want the production challenge against similar DNA animals. Pigs are being supplied by the same, local barn for $70 per pig. They will be 50-60 days old, crossbred, white, and will have all their shots. Participants can purchase up to three pigs, but show a maximum of one. Register with the Extension office by 4:30pm on Thursday, March 14th. Payment is due at the time of registration. Pigs will be assigned at random at Swine ID Day on Saturday, March 23rd. Questions can be directed to Mike Burkhalter at 641-919-4411.
