4-H 202: Iowa 4-H Livestock Show Requirements
ALL animals may be identified in the 4-H Online system. You, as a member, must identify all animals. The following help sheets are designed to help with the entry of animals. If an individual does not have internet access or needs assistance entering animals, they should contact the Extension Office.

*New Rule for 2023-Jefferson County Fitting & Show Preparation Rule-It is the intent that the 4-H'er/FFA take responsibility for caring for and grooming his/her own animals (refer to National Code of Show Ring Ethics). If assistance is needed, it should be aimed at helping the 4-H'er/FFA learn new skills. This includes all grooming, fitting, and putting on equipment. This is for EVERY SPECIES of animal. Any youth found in violation of this rule will be given a verbal warning. If additional violations occur, the exhibitor may be disqualified.
June 9th, 2023
- YQCA Training - Completed annually for those exhibiting beef, dairy, goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep, or swine exhibits. Remember to bring a copy of Certification to our office

- Fair Entry - Opens May 22, 2023 - Closes June 9, 2023 - This is where you will register the projects you want to take to the county fair! Please call the office if you have any questions.
- Stall Fee - Please turn the form into the Extension office no later than June 9th.
