Job Opening: Program Coordinator

Humboldt County Extension and Outreach is looking for a full-time Program Coordinator.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, excellent communication skills, up-to-date computer and social media skills, and the ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Starting wage: $20/hour.
To be guaranteed consideration, cover letter, application, and resume are due by April 6, 2021 to the attention of Kim Axne.  Position will remain open until filled.

Private Pesticide Applicator Training Registration:


Due to COVID-19, additional Private Pesticide Applicator Training sessions are being offered online. 

  • Preregistration is required.
  • Please don't delay as the IDALS deadline is April 15, 2021 .

Please note:
Farmers who use the dicamba products in soybeans, Xtendimax, Engenia, and Tavium, will also need to complete their dicamba training prior to the retailer allowing them to pick up these products.
The majority of this training is offered online.

Iowa Land Value Survey - The Iowa Land Value Survey, directed by Michael Duffy, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Farm Management Specialist and professor of economics, is a topic of great interest. The survey has been conducted annually since 1941, and is the only statewide survey that collects information on land values in each of Iowa's 99 counties.
