Getting Ready for Fair Checklist
FairEntry (county) - All 4-H'ers exhibiting projects/livestock must be entered by JULY 8th! NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted! You may use this help sheet for assistance OR contact the Extension Office.
FairEntry (state) - Eligible 4-H'ers (those in grades 5-12) intending to participate at the Iowa State Fair with livestock or animals must pay entry fees and complete online fair entry by July 1st at 11:59pm!
**Animals must have been identified in 4-H Online by the designed due date.

Educational Presentations, Extemporaneous Speaking, & Fashion Revue/Clothing Selection judging will take place on Friday, July 1st.
Communications begins at 9:00am Clothing will be in the afternoon (exact time TBD)

Share the Fun will take place on Wednesday, July 13th during the Queen Contest.
Working Exhibits will take place on Thursday, July 14th at 5:30pm.**Please sign-up for these events with your leader or Extension Office by July 1st.

- YQCA - 4-H'ers exhibiting livestock (Beef, Dairy, Meat Goat, Poultry, Rabbit, Sheep, &/or Swine) at the Henry County Fair and Iowa State Fair are required to be YQCA certified each year.
