The Franklin County Extension Service will be offering a seminar on estate planning on Monday, February 18th, 2019 (date change from November 15th, 2018) from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the Franklin County Extension Office in Hampton.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Franklin County has scheduled 2 private pesticide applicator training dates:  December 13, 2018 and February 7, 2019.   This is one way to renew your certification by attending a training each of the three years during the renewal cycle.  For questions or more information call Traci Kloetzer at 641-456-4811.

This highly interactive three-session program is designed to help participants recognize the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease (PD), to understand what causes PD, and how treatments work. The program will also describe what therapeutic activities can be done in the home.
Each 45-minute session will be led by ISU Extension and Outreach Field Specialist, Brenda Schmitt,  who is a trained class leader.
