The Summer Youth Assistant will be responsible for assisting or leading 4-H and Youth activities in Emmet County. This individual must be reliable, detail oriented, problem solver, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of teams of staff and volunteers.

The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office in Emmet County is offering summer day camps for area youth again this summer.  The deadline to register is June 3rd!  There are camps for all youth who have completed K-6th grade.  All camps include; snacks, lunch, crafts, games, science activities, recreation, experiments, outdoor activities, and tons of fun!

Then maybe you should consider attending a Delayed Planting Meeting put on by Emmet and Kossuth County Extension Offices.

 Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a national multi-species quality assurance program for youth ages 8 to 21 with a focus on three core pillars: food safety, animal well-being, and character development.

4-H members who exhibit the following species — beef, goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep, swine — must be YQCA certified by JULY 1st.
