The Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program is seeking eligible communities: those with populations of fewer than 10,000 residents, within one mile of a state or federal highway, with existing transportation-related issues, and that have volunteers willing to dedicate their time and talent to the visioning process.

Nominations are open for 2023 Women Impacting Agriculture. This annual recognition program honors women who are making a positive difference in Iowa agriculture. Nominations are due by June 30 at 5 p.m.

Cash rent survey for Iowa shows an increase of 9% in 2023, for a state average of $279 per acre. An economist with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach says the new record is 3.3% higher than the previous record set in 2013, when rent was $270 per acre.
