Agronomy Project Information

Exhibitors are limited to one entry each of corn, soybeans, oats, wheat, hay, and rye. Classes will be divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced divisions based on the exhibitor’s Agronomy project area experience. Exhibitors may opt into a higher-level class if they wish to do so. 

To enter in the Agronomy Project, exhibitors must complete entry in FairEntry in late May (check 4-H Newsletter for specific date each year). The Report Form and Crop Production Worksheet should be completed with as much information as possible for Field Judging in late June and completely finished for the final judging at the Fair. Cow-Calf Exhibits: Only beef heifer projects which were tattooed for the cow-calf class during a previous Delaware County Fair may be entered in this class. Dairy Project Information

Dairy identification must be completed in 4honline or complete the Dairy Identification Form by May 15. Dairy project animals may be owned or leased. If identifying a leased animal, the Dairy Project Lease Document must be completed and turned into the Extension Office by May 15. Horse and Pony Project Information

All horses and ponies must be identified in 4honline or complete the Horse Identification Form by May 15. Horse projects may be leased if they are exhibited in performance classes or showmanship. If a horse is leased, exhibitors must completed the Horse Lease Agreement Form and submit it to the Extension Office by May 15. Clothing Event Information
