Decatur County Babysitting Clinic Provides Skills for Safe, Successful Babysitting

Attendees learned about caring for infants and children, child development, age-appropriate activities for kids, child safety and first aid, nutrition, parental expectations of babysitters, and the business of babysitting.

Babysitting Workshop Offered for Grades 5+ on June 1

Youth grades 5 and up are encouraged to come learn about the business of babysitting, child development, and safety.

Youth Test Skills, Learn about Wildlife Habitat

The Wildlife Habitat Education Program offers young Iowans hands-on environmental education. They learn about the importance of conservation management and how to be stewards of the land. Youth also have an opportunity to test their wildlife knowledge in friendly competition in state and national contests.
