It is now time to enroll for the 4-H year!  For those planning to show at the Dallas County Fair this July, 2019 the deadline to enroll is May 15 for all re-enrolling members to have fees paid and re-enrolled through 4HOnline.  

New members are welcome to join after May 15th, 2019 but will not be able to participate in the fair this summer.

While starting a conversation with youth about vaping can be challenging, it is important that parents, caregivers, and anyone who works with youth have access to credible information to begin those conversations.

Iowa 4-H supporters gathered n February 28 to celebrate and honor four award recipients at the 2020 Iowa 4-H Legacy Awards Gala. Dallas County 4-H'er Bryson Smith provided an interactive exhibit.. 

Communications Day

Youth will have the option of delivering before a judge and audience an educational presentation or a working exhibit. Or if they would like they may do both. Educational presentations provide 4-H’ers with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge on a topic while working exhibits allow them to engage the audience in hands on learning.
