Bucket Bottle Calf Workshop - Feb 2024

About: Join Linda Wiese, BBC superintendent, for an informative workshop about obtaining and raising a bucket bottle calf. Written records and the interview will also be discussed. Bring questions! This workshop is intended for 4-H and FFA members.

YQCA Training Options - TBD for 2024

About: It’s time to get your YQCA Certifications if you show... Beef, Dairy Cattle/Dairy Goat, Meat Goat, Poultry, Rabbit, Sheep, or Swine The goal of this program is to help youth and their parents better understand what they can do to produce the safest food possible. 4-12th grade exhibitors MUST have their certification complete before entering classes in Fair Entry! Youth will have to enter their certificate number when logging in.


Cost: $3 for in-person, $12 for online (Clinton County 4-H members, email for a coupon!)

Campers arrive by 1pm Tuesday and camper pick up is 4pm Thursday.

Horse Fundamentals Virtual Program - Feb/Mar 2024

About: Join Peggy Auwerda, Iowa Equine Extension and Outreach Specialist, for weekly interactive ZOOM meetings to learn about horses.

Horse Fundamentals will focus on horse anatomy, colors and markings, gaits, and English and Western performance events. Interactive activities will be utilized for the program. Sessions are Thursdays from 7-8 pm and are recorded. More information online. Informational flyer for program.
