1. Prevents teen substance abuse and other behavior problems 

2. Strengthens parent/youth communication skills

3. Increases academic success in youth 

4. Prevents violence and aggressive behavior at home and at school

ISU Clinton County Extension and Outreach is enrolling two part time AmeriCorps members to aid in presenting positive youth development activities in Clinton County.  Each position will require completion of 900 hours by August 31st 2019 (approximately 20-25 hours per week, some weekends) and includes a living allowance and an educational stipend.  Click HERE for full job description.

Babysitting Basics Training for all 5th-12th Graders Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019.The course will cover all that you need to have a successful babysitting business. We will cover responsibilities of a baby-sitter, what employers expect, how to care for children of different ages, games and play ideas, basic first aid, and safety and how to handle emergencies.
