4-H Calendar of Events

August 21, 2018

A free program designed to help adults enhance individual wellbeing and quality of life.  Session topics focus on understanding wellbeing, building strong relationships, managing money and enjoying good health.  Sessions are 12:00 - 12:45 pm, September 20 and 27, October 4 and 11.  Click on program title for registration information.

August 13, 2018

ISU Clinton County Extension and Outreach is enrolling two part time AmeriCorps members to aid in presenting positive youth development activities in Clinton County.  Each position will require completion of 900 hours by August 31st 2019 (approximately 20-25 hours per week, some weekends) and includes a living allowance and an educational stipend.  Click HERE for full job description.

Babysitting Basics Training for all 5th-12th Graders Saturday, November 3rd, 2018.The course will cover all that you need to have a successful babysitting business. We will cover responsibilities of a baby-sitter, what employers expect, how to care for children of different ages, games and play ideas, basic first aid, and safety and how to handle emergencies.

Building Healthy Relationships

When a couple has a strong, stable relationship, they can build a healthy foundation for their family. That’s the message of Healthy Relationship Education Training. ISU Extension and Outreach recently offered the training to Iowa State ROTC students who will serve as leaders in the military after graduation.
