ServSafe Food Safety Training classes are being offered in Black Hawk County throughout 2019 for certification for food service managers and workers.  Attached is the brochure for more information and registraion information.  Registration is required at least three weeks prior to class date. Come join us as we travel by van with other 4-Hers to Des Moines, tour the State Capitol complex, visit with elected officials, gain a greater understanding of our Iowa State Government and learn about our great schools and people. On Wednesday, February 13th, 6th - 9th grade 4-H members & friends are planning to visit the Judicial Center, Iowa Legislature and Capitol in Des Moines. From there, we will have lunch and explore the Science Center of Iowa.

This lists the private Continuing Instruction Course (CIC) programs that will be held in and around our county this winter. Feel free to attend any session that fits your schedule.  Butler County Extension will have two continuing courses, January 23, 2019 at Chirstian Reformed Church, Parkersburg at 1:30 pm. and Feburary 13, 2019 at Butler Co Extension Office, Allison at 9:30 am. The fee for this program is $20.00.
