The 4-H/FFA beef weigh-in is scheduled for December 14, 2019 from 7 to 9 am at the Waverly Sales Co. If you plan to bring your market beef to the Butler County Fair or Iowa State Fair you will need to weigh your animal at this time.  There is a link below on new insturctions regarding unloading and loading at the Sale Barn. Any questions please contact Tayler Veldhuizen at 319-267-2707.

Feeling stretched caring for an adult with chronic conditions?  Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a class designed to provide you-the family caregiver-with the skills you need to take care of yourself.  

Six two-and-a-half hour class sessions held once a week are led by certified, experienced class leaders.

Class being offered, October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and November 7, 2019 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm at the Butler County Extension Office, 320 N Main St, Allison.

Cost: $30 (includes Caregiver Help Book-$30 value)
