Summer Programs: Fun for All!

Join us for Fun all Summer Long!

Summer Programming is offered in multiple different ways:

  • Library Programs
    • These 1.5-hour programs indulge kids in a different curriculum followed by a hands-on activity that allows them to experience what they learned! 
  • Pop Up Events
    • Staff members will attend a local event and interact with kids and teach them using a fun, hands-on activity
  • Workshop
    • Allow kids to learn something new as they get some hands-on experience and guidance from an expert
  • Summer Day Camps- Pre-registration is required!
    • A day filled with adventure and learning! Kids engage in research-based activities with dedicated educators! 
  • Fun Fair Activities for all to participate in! 
    • Fun for the whole family! Our Black Hawk County 4-H & FFA Fair allows 4-H members to showcase projects they have been working on all year. However, the event is fun for all to enjoy! Including events, classes for all to enter, and educational programs!

*The fees for service will be used to offset direct expenses and to support the 4-H Youth Development County Extension Program.
