Fair Entry Help Sheets

The process for the Animal Entry Deadline is going to look different this year, there no longer will be any “Blue Entry Forms” mailed to families. Instead, we will be shifting to a new platform known as Fair Entry. Fair Entry is the same platform used by numerous counties across the state of Iowa and the United States including the Iowa State Fair.

Fair Entry will open for members and families to begin entering animals and classes on Thursday, May 25 and will close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, June 15 for livestock entries. 4-H Families will use their account login from 4hOnline2.0 to login into the system, and all animals that were identified in 4hOnline2.0 by May 15 will rollover into Fair Entry. FFA families must create a new account to make entries into the system. Livestock entries are required to be entered into Fair Entry.

The system will open for conference judging entries on Thursday, May 25 and will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, July 1. You do not need to enter all conference judging exhibits into Fair Entry, exhibits not entered will be judged and awarded premiums.

We understand this is a new system and it is going to take a while to adapt to the new program system and process. Please remain patient and work with us to work through the glitches this first year. There is a help sheet to assist you with making entries, and please know you can reach out to the Extension Office if you need assistance making entries. We also are going to be hosting Fair Entry Help Nights from 4:30 until 6:30 PM at the Extension Office on the following dates:

Thursday, June 1                     Monday, June 12

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Allamakee County Extension Office, we would be happy to assist. 563.568.6345
