• Fungicides and Fungicide Applications (including spray drones) - Doug Houser, Digital Ag Extension Specialist, & Jose Gonzalez, ISU Plant Pathology Research Scientist

• Complete Farm Tour - Cody Schneider, Farm Superintendent

3:30 p.m. - Adjourn

 

Note: The Certified Crop Advisor Continuing Education normally associated with the Spring Field Day has shifted to the Strip-tillage Field Day described below.

Here is a rough preliminary schedule for the Strip-tillage Field Day on July 30, 2025, at the farm. Check back here for updates as the day nears.

 

There will be a morning and an afternoon session, which will be very similar, so you will pick one. Participants in both sessions will enjoy lunch and a noon speaker together.

 

9:00 a.m. - Registration for the morning session

9:30 a.m. - Field Demonstrations begin

11:30 a.m. - Lunch is served

11:30 a.m. - Registration for the afternoon session

12:15 p.m. - Evaluating the job a strip-tillage machine does, by an Ag and Biosystems Engineer at Iowa State University

1:30 p.m. - Lunch closes

2:00 p.m. - Field Demonstrations begin

4:00 p.m. - Field Day Closes
