2018 FARM BILL MEETING--JANUARY 27, 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

Producers, agri-business personnel, landowners and other interested parties will have an opportunity to learn about the program election and enrollment process regarding the 2018 Farm Bill, as well as discuss financial decision-making.

“The meeting is designed to help producers, landlords and other agri-business professionals with a discussion of farm operation strategies, including the 2018 Farm Bill election and enrollment process, the ARC/PLC analyzer tools that are available to them, and farm financial trends,” said Gary Wright, Farm Business Management Specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach. “We held several of these meetings in December and we hope that we can catch anyone who missed those meetings by holding this one January 27 in Woodbury.”

Topics and presenters for the meeting include:
• 2018 Farm Bill - presented by Kaylan Sundermann, CED, FSA
• ARC/PLC Decisions, ISU Payment Analyzer and Farm Financial Issues - presented by Gary Wright, ISU Extension and Outreach Farm Business Management Specialist
• Farm Stress Management - presented by Lori Hayungs, Human Sciences Specialist in Family Life with ISU Extension and Outreach.

The meeting will last approximately 3 hours. There is no fee to attend; however, pre-registrations are requested to better manage the availability of materials and resources.
