Subsoil moisture map
April 29, 2021

Iowa State University has completed their spring survey of subsoil moisture in the northwest corner of Iowa, according to Joel DeJong, ISU Extension and Outreach Field Agronomist. Subsoil moisture levels are checked in fall and spring at several specific long-term locations in northwest Iowa counties.

ISU Extension and Outreach – Woodbury County, along with the Community Action Agency of Siouxland, is hosting a drive thru food giveaway at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 23 in the parking lot of Lewis and Clark Park located at 3400 Line Dr. in Sioux City. More than 1,250 food boxes will be distributed as part of the USDA sponsored Farmers to Families Food Box Program.
