Schools that want to build a strong team to start or continue to expand a school garden will benefit from a series of five classes offered by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. School Gardens 101, a five-session course, will be offered this winter in Woodbury County.

Grades 4-8 Cost $25 for the day

Ever wonder what makes your heart beat or why your parents encourage you to eat your veggies? This camp is full of activities to help you learn how to make healthy choices as you explore ways to SWITCH what you Do, View and Chew. Come try new foods, play new games with new friends and share these lessons with others in your community.
