The Women Gaining Ground keynote speaker is Laurie Guest, a highly sought after humorous speaker called on to deliver top-notch, content-filled programs with a good does of motivational laughter. The conference features several farm management topics from vineyards to soybeans; plus women in ag topics from meals in minutes to landscaping. Registrations are due by April 21 and the conference takes place on April 30, 2016 at the Glenwood High School. The conference is presented by Women, Land and Legacy in partnership with several other organizations.

Iowa's very own Pam Johnson, former President of the National Corn Growers Association ia a guest speaker. If you are looking to start a career on the farm or ranch, or have just begun your career and are looking for guidance, please join Ag Women Lead as they hear from experts on tools available to you, what to expect, and how women can help each other succeed.

Water Quality Pre-conference Tour

Now is the time to register for the Water Quality Pre-Conference Tour and "Sharing Solutions" the 10th Annual  Iowa Women in Agriculture Conference. Registration is available at http://iowawomeninag.org.

The water quality tour features both urban and agricultural water quality practices. We'll visit the Bear Creek Buffer Restoration Project designated as one of 12 National Restoration Demonstration Watersheds.
