Welcome

Hello Friends!

Welcome to our website and to Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Women in Agriculture! I'm glad you stopped by! I hope you’ll find our resources and activities helpful and enjoyable.

Our website is a place where you can interact with us and other women in agriculture through our social media links. All of us share many of the same concerns and hopes for the future of agriculture and our families. You’ll find stories of successful women in agriculture to inspire you. As women’s roles in agriculture continue to change, we want to challenge and support you in your endeavors. If you are looking for classes and other events, this is the place to be. You’ll find information on activities offered by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Women in Agriculture, as well as links to other organizations and events.

You are an important part of our outreach audience and the reason why we come to work with enthusiasm every day! We want to improve the lives of farm women, women landowners, women in agribusiness, women interested in agriculture, and other educators serving similar audiences. My team and I will strive to provide interesting and insightful articles of interest to each of these groups.

From managing soil health to choosing foods for the family dinner table, women are influential decision-makers in agriculture. We know that well-educated, well-supported women in agriculture can and will create a stronger Iowa agriculture system and a more food-secure world. Let us know how we can help you!

Thank you for visiting this website!
