Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Women in Ag Leadership Conference
How Remarkable Women Lead with Confidence - Jeanne Bernick
Jeanne Bernick, Marketing Strategist and Manager for K-Coe Isom, will deliver the capstone address for the Women in Ag Leadership Conference: “How Remarkable Women Lead with Confidence.”
Through her role with K-Coe Isom, an agricultural consulting firm, Bernick works to serve her ag clientele in the most effective manner, particularly as it relates to advising farmers and producers when making financial decisions.
The University of Missouri graduate in agricultural journalism is motivated to share the stories of women in agriculture as part of the conference, and looks to enhance the confidence of women who are active and involved in the industry.
“I work with so many women who are doing very important things on the farm, but may not have the confidence to lead or speak up,” Bernick said.
Bernick is looking forward to inspiring women in all aspects of their lives, from becoming a leader on their farm operation and business, to an influencer in their family and community.
“I want women to walk out of the room understanding their value and how women bring heart to the business,” Bernick said.
The capstone presentation will follow the session: Balancing Roles in the Family, On the Farm, Off the Farm and in the Community, concluding the inaugural conference proceedings.
Registration for the conference can be completed here.
