Youth for the Quality Care of Animals Course NOW OPEN!

Youth for the Quality Care of Animals training is available online or in person. This certification teaches youth ethical and proper care of animals entering the food chain.
All certifications must be completed ON or BEFORE June 1 in order to show at the Winneshiek County Fair.
Exhibitors, grades 4-12, exhibiting: beef, bucket bottle, swine, sheep, dairy cattle, dairy goat, meat goat, rabbit, and poultry are REQUIRED to be FSQA/YQCA certified to exhibit at the County and Iowa State Fairs.
To be certified youth have the following options:
Youth with current FSQA certification are grandfathered in until expired.
Register online for the face-to-face trainings: Monday, April 13: Decorah Lutheran Church, 1:00 PM OR Monday, April 13: Ossian Community Center, 3:30 PM.
Complete the course online. Open to all grade levels. There is a $12 fee paid online when registering.
