Record Books Due to Extension Office by Monday, October 1, 2018

Record books are a great way to reflect on your 4-H year.  It is highly suggested that every 4-H member complete a record book.  Not only can you earn trophies, pins and cash, but it is a great springboard for when it is time to fill out job applications and scholarship applications!   Don't forget that a 4-H record book is a look into your entire 4-H year, not just what you exhibited at the county fair!  Record books should include all 4-H involvement from September 2017 - August 2018.
Leaders should submit books selected for county judging by Monday, October 1, 2018.  Members make sure to check with your leaders to find out when record books are due to the club for selection.
Record book information, resources and worksheets can be found at
You might also want to check out the record book rubics for West Pottawattamie County.  It will outline EXACTLY what the book is being judged on.

All members who complete a record book will be recognized at the Record Book Awards Banquet on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
