QuickBooks Basics Class Offered to Local Businesses

The North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center in partnership with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach are offering a QuickBooks Basics class to local businesses to assist them withgaining an understanding of the basics of QuickBooks to strengthen their business’ financial position.
Classes will begin May 18 and run every Tuesday and Thursday through June 10, 2021, from 3:30 – 5 PM via ZOOM platform.
The class will cost $250 per participant and covers the cost of a textbook, access to office hours for additional assistance, access to download QuickBooks for five months in order to participate and complete practice tests, and Certificate of Completion for those that complete the course. Participants must have a webcam to better facilitate a classroom perspective.
The first ten applicants that sign up who are residents in the Appanoose, Lucas, Monroe and Wayne counties will be reimbursed $50 upon completion of the course.The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will also reimburse $100 for the first 5 Wayne County Chamber member participants upon completion of the course.
