Modified 4-H Project Extravaganza to Provide Hands-On Learning

4-H hands-on learning, creating and fun through the 4-H Winter Project Extravaganza will use technology to teach participants at home through Zoom and YouTube videos and encourage youth to explore new learning opportunities. 
 
These activities are open to any youth 4th grade and older.  4-H membership is not required.   Each participant brings in their own level of experiences and is able to apply that to all of these project areas.  Check them out and get registered today! Tree Art is a painting workshop led by RePurpose It of Washington.  Participants will pick up kits to include all supplies to create a wood tree home accessory.  They can follow steps and tips provided through video links.  Participants will learn dry brush, decoupage, and texturing.  Cost $30.  Open to 4th grade and above.  Register here: https://tinyurl.com/4HTreeArt
 
Surprise & Delight is a floral arrangement workshop led by Wolf Floral of Washington.  Participants will pick up kits that include supplies to make four mini arrangements with cards to deliver to others a surprise and delete.   Open to 4th grade and above.  Cost $20.  Register here:  https://tinyurl.com/ProjExt20Surprise
 
Inspiration Everywhere  is a free photography Zoom workshop led by local photographer Rachel Fishback December 5, 9am-10:30 am.  The link will be provided upon registration so participants can tune in from home.  Youth will learn about photography elements with short exercises to do inside and outside to find Inspiration Everywhere.  Register here: https://tinyurl.com/4HInspire
 
Youth are encouraged to participate and learn through these virtual but hands-on experiences to boost knowledge and spark new project interests while having a good time, creating, and building upon skills.  Pre-registration is required of all workshops and will fill on a first come, first serve basis.  Photos of the projects and detailed descriptions are available here.
