The premier educational opportunity for cattlewomen in Iowa, Boots in the Barn, will be hosted by Keokuk and Washington County Extension this winter. A four-meeting series covering an array of topics in beef has been set for Thursday evenings in January. This program will be sponsored and held at Libertyville Savings Bank in Keota: 225 E Broadway Street.The meetings and dinner will begin at 5:30pm, and run roughly 2-3 hours each night.

A veterinary feed directive (VFD) is a written statement given to an animal owner by a veterinarian that is similar to a prescription.  Youth must obtain a VFD order from their veterinarian to get the VFD feed.  Click here for guide.
