Clover University
April 10, 2019

The Washington County Extension Office has 18 individual day camp opportunities called Clover University for PreK through middle school youth. The camps are being offered this year in Ainsworth, Riverside, Kalona, and Washington. Camp flyers will be sent out to the schools week of April 15.

May 16, 2019

June 23 community members, runners, walkers, 4-H’ers, friends, family, alumni and volunteers will hit the Washington County fairgrounds running, walking and mudding for fun and health. The 4-H ELITE Project Team invites all to the inaugural Farm Tough Challenge June 23 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. This event is a 5k or 1 mile obstacle and mud course on the fairgrounds.  Flyer.

If you're looking for ideas on how to eat healthy and make the most of the time you spend in the kitchen, this workshop series is for you! Join Rachel Sweeney, ISU Extension and Outreach Human Sciences Specialist in Nutrition and Wellness for a three part series scheduled for Thursdays – May 16, 23, and 30 from 6-7:30pm at the Brighton Community Center, 100 E Washington Street, Brighton, Iowa.

Sessions include:  Cook Now, Enjoy Later; Cooking for One or Two; and Veg Out.
