COVID-19 Update: Attendance limits for gatherings end January 25

January 11, 2021

Governor Reynolds’ restrictions limiting gatherings to no more than 15 people indoors or 30 people outdoors ended December 16, but I continued the limits for ISU Extension and Outreach until further notice. These restrictions impacted many ISU Extension and Outreach meetings and 4-H club meetings. I am removing the limitations on the number of attendees at events effective January 25.

However, other COVID-19 precautions still apply: face coverings are required, maintain six feet physical distance, wash your hands, and stay home if you are sick. According to CDC, masks are key to slowing the spread and protect both the person wearing it and others. Please monitor and follow state and county public health guidance. Check the Open for Iowa website for additional information.
