COVID-19: Returning travelers must self-isolate

March 23, 2020

March 23, 2020, 6:54 a.m. -- message to staff, faculty and councils

Following the guidance from Governor Reynolds and President Wintersteen I am strongly encouraging anyone who traveled out of state recently to self-isolate at home for 14 days.  See the President’s message.  ISU employees are to be working remotely already and should check with their supervisors.

County staff who have traveled out of state are also encouraged to self-isolate and should check with their supervisor about working remotely or taking leave.

If you live in a neighboring state and have not traveled beyond your home community, the 14-day self-isolation may not apply. However, I encourage you to take extra precautions and check with your supervisor. Your state may have implemented restrictions that you should follow.

Be careful and stay safe.
