  What Can I Do in 4-H?

4-H members can participate in a wide variety of 4-H projects and related activities, such as:
ANIMALS
AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES
CREATIVE ARTS
FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES
COMMUNICATIONS
SCIENCE. ENGINEERING. AND TECHNOLOGY
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
RESUME BUILDING
CAMPS AND TRIPS
 
...and so much more! 4-H is for everyone
 
4-H is for kids 4th-12th Grade
Cloverkids is for kids K-3rd Grade

How do I join?

1. Contact the County Youth Coordinator Jennifer Plowman
2. Select a club or Jennifer will help you find a club
3. Create a 4-H online profile
4. Attend club meetings
5. Work on goals, projects and make friends
6. HAVE FUN!!! 
In order to participate at county fair you must be enrolled by May 15th of that year. However if you decide to join after may 15th you are still encouraged to participate in club meetings and other county events! 

How do I find a club

We have many ways to find a club

Location (you can join a club any where in Van Buren County. You do not have to live in that town in order to attend!
When they meet 
If you have friends in the club already
The map below is to show where clubs are located through out the county. 
Enrollment fees are covered by 1st Iowa State Bank and The Van Buren Foundation
