The Story County 4-H program is always looking for volunteers to help with a variety of activities, ranging from helping with county fair events to serving as a club leader!

Kids in the Kitchen was held at the Colo Community Center February 12 in a partnership with ISU Extension and Outreach – Story County and the Colo Public Library.

A Babysitting Basics class for youth in fifth and sixth grade is being offered by ISU Extension and Outreach on March 15.  The class will run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.  Participants will learn about the responsibilities of a babysitter, what employers expect, and how to care for infants and toddlers.

Water Rocks! Day Camp is planned for youth in third through sixth grades and will be held Thursday, March 8 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at McFarland Park.  Through activities participants will learn about the amazing Mississippi Watershed and the great things found in it like water, soil, animals, and more.
