Judges Needed for 2018 State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa

January 17, 2018

Please join us at this year's State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa held March 22-23 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames!

We are in need of Senior High Judges on Thursday and Junior High Judges on Friday. You can judge a half day (Fri), full day (Thurs or Fri) or both days of the Fair.

Do you have a major, degree, or background in science, engineering, or technology? Then we want you. We are expecting 700 young research students with 200 of these being high school students. These young scientists and engineers will come to Iowa State University to exhibit and learn from judges just like you. The event will need 350 junior high judges and 100 high school judges to work with youth from across Iowa, serving as educators, to not only evaluate student research projects but to help students become better researchers. For judging high school projects on Thursday, advanced degrees or experience in industry is preferred.
