 Purpose

The purpose of this award is to recognize mutually beneficial community partnerships that demonstrate shared decision making. This award is presented at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Annual Conference Awards Ceremony. 

 Award

Nominations are reviewed by ISU Extension and Outreach before submission to the VPEO and announced at the ISU Extension and Outreach Annual Conference. Winners are notified in approximately 3 weeks. Only nominators receive notice of unsuccessful nominations.

• Identifies and addresses problems through mutually beneficial community partnerships.
• Demonstrates shared decision making and evaluation with community partners
• Reaches participants through ISU Extension and Outreach work, and supports efforts with data.
• Provides evidence of how partners were engaged in community efforts.
