Iowa Woodlands Owners Association Field Day to be held October 18th in Jasper County

The Iowa Woodland Owners Association announces plans for the Fall Field Day on Oct 18th at Grinnell College’s Conrad Environmental Center located 10 miles west of Grinnell exit off I80.(exit 173 Hwy 224 North)  11203 S 12th Ave. Kellogg.
 
A full day of activities starts at 10 a.m. Planned subjects to be covered include Savanna Restoration, Prairie Management, Prescribed Fire in Woodlands and Forest Health & Emerging Oak Diseases presented by experts from all over the state.
 
Advance registration is required as lunch is provided. Cost is $15 for IWOA members and students, all others $20. Send registration information and payment to IWOA c/o Paul Millice 2254 Black Diamond Rd SW Iowa City, IA 52240.
